The Sound Movement
The Sound Movement have covered 3 continents and 4 major cities (Melbourne, Tokyo, Manchester and London) in their short lifespan. Not many bands have a direct relationship to their
name - their journeys have provided a rich source of inspiration for their dreamy, dark, melodic pop and the basis of their debut album 'Ichi Go Ichi E' (One Meeting One Chance), to be launched at Club Fandango. Their shoegaze meets post-punk crossover calls on the influences and comparisons to The Stone Roses, The Smiths, The Chameleons, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy and Swervedriver, amongst others, creating an atmospheric scintillating soundscape all their own.
