The Mod:elz
The Mod:elz formed in March 2006 by Michael Smith and Chris Heggie. Michael's heartfelt lyrics, fuelled by confusion and envy combined with Chris's quirky, unique guitar style proved a powerful mix. After writing a set of originals, Chris and Mike began the search for a rhythm section that could fill the void in their songs. After many changes Dan was found; his unusual drum rhythms and unorthodox style proved to be the missing link, giving The Mod:elz a pulse. But still something was missing, Slev was spotted in another band and they were immediately aware that his bass riffs would be a necessary part of the sound. After much rehearsal The Mod:elz exploded onto the stage stunning audiences all over London and creating much talk and a large fan base.
