Kinkajou
Kinkajou are from south London and formed after a drunken meeting at a party. The name Kinkajou was of course chosen after a member of the raccoon family, potos flavus, that lives in central and south America and which has a prehensile tail, sharp claws and can be vicious if given strong liquor. They've played regular gigs round London, including dates at the Borderline, Blackheath Halls, the Troubadour and the 12 Bar Club and starred at the inaugural whitelabel.com unsigned bands night at the Concorde 2 in Brighton. They've also played a number of local festivals in London and have appeared live in session on Tom Robinson's show on BBC 6 Radio.
