The Dirty Feel
The Dirty Feel are restoring equilibrium by displaying an abundance of both filth and juice - two ingredients normally sadly lacking in today’s Rock Scene. A dynamic trio likened to Cream, Led Zep, the Chili Peppers and The Meters, the band formed in early 2002, honing their sound in the filthy rehearsal rooms of North London. Since then, they have excited audiences and promoters alike across London, with their electric, energetic and powerful performances, amassing a hardcore following of rockers, punks and a few funk fans. Lead vocals are shared between the band members, who write and arrange their songs together, a democratic process which ensures audience members being able to focus on the band and their songs rather than a showboating frontman. Armed with a collection of songs set for a June release, The Dirty Feel are now ready to break out of the dingy London music venues to spread the filth. The world is about to get a lot dirtier, and what’s more it’s going to enjoy the feel. “You leave their gigs wanting to do unimaginably filthy, naughty things ... they play music you have to dance to in true ugly fashion: where your hair flies everywhere and you don’t care what you look like as you’re so caught up in the moment!” (Artrocker)
