Penguins Kill Polar Bears formed in 2008 to ply their hope-drenched post-rock to UK audiences up and down the country. Their sound is that of a band as unafraid of pop as they are grunge and heavy rock – catchy but completely uncompromising in their crescendos and massive drum beats. With loud and soft dynamics and live performances which are honest and powerful with equal measures of restraint and excess, Penguins Kill Polar Bears’ performance will never translate into words without losing some of its energy and vibrance.
