The Wild Mercury Sound
The Wild Mercury Sound Described by Gill Mills (Best of Myspace) as "Bombay Bicycle Club on steroids", The Wild Mercury Sound have spent 2010 playing shows in both the UK & Europe. The band's name is taken from a famous Bob Dylan quote describing the sound on his Blonde on Blonde album. Taking influence from the likes of Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Suede etc they have been developing their sound and working alongside producers such as James Kenosha (Pulled Apart By Horses, Dinosaur Pileup, Dry The River) and Charlie Andrew (Eugene McGuiness, Luna Belle, The Laurel Collective). They have already received support from the likes of BBC's Steve Lamacq and Tom Robinson, and their debut single is due out early 2011.
