Roland Shanks
Roland Shanks hail from Camberwell, which, as any student knows, is also home of The Carrot. They played their first proper venue in January '05 at the Windmill in Brixton. Their music has been described as many different things: early Cure with undertones of Joy Division and Talking Heads. The band released their debut single last year on the mighty Moshi Moshi label, and are back now with their storming newie, 'Tarantula'.
