MODERN HINTERLAND (onstage 9.45pm) Modern Hinterland are a Americana/Rock/Folk band from Newcastle. "The result is an energetic, optimistic first record of packed with snapshots and memories, taking the nostalgic sound of wild Americana and soups it up with modern flourishes that are almost indie-pop.” - NEN
TALL TREE 6FT MAN (onstage 8.45pm) Tall Tree 6ft Man is primarily Jonathan Czerwik, a Cambridge-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Anyone with working ears should be able to detect hints of fellow Cambridge men Pink Floyd, with perhaps some of Rufus Wainwright's more tender moments. You may remember the TT6FTTM track 'Tears And Laughter' which was featured on the hit Fox TV show 'Bones' causing a stir with its US audience.
SAM EAGLE (onstage 8.00pm) Sam Eagle, is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the coast of Essex. Taking influence from jazz, rock, hip-hop, and folk, via artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Radiohead, and Thundercat - Sam has worked on creating a sound that brings jazzy, left field pop tunes to the indie genre.
