The Coast
The Coast grew up on the sleepy edges of Canada's largest metropolis. Comprised of two sets of friends, the Toronto 4-piece have been playing together since high school. Formerly the July 26th Movement, the band adapted their new name from the title of a Paul Simon song. UmbrellaMusic.com praised their first EP, Take A Walk Outside, as 'a blend of atmospheric sounds,earnest songwriting and fetching pop hooks.' Four of Toronto's freshest new faces, The Coast will take time out from their recording schedule to grace the Bright Lights stage with their new material.
