Letters And Colours
Letters And Colours emerged from nowhere to become a strong national force. The band are heavily influenced by the Sheffield post-punk scene, which spawned bands such as Artery, Pulp and Vice Versa. Their debut double a-side single 'Confrontation' and 'Bigger Than Life' earned critical aclaim as well as national radio play from both Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens. The sold out single released on their own Dead Product label was dispatched to no less than 15 different countries on the back of considerable on-line support. Following a very well recieved live set at this year's Leeds festival, Letters & Colours have been short listed to take part in this year's CMJ event in New York, as well as narrowly missing out as Radio One's choice to appear with The Who and Damon Albarn at Electric Prom's. They also appeared on the very well recieved Digital Penetration compilation, reaching number 17 in the UK Dance album charts. The future looks bright for the group who are to finalise a single deal later in the year.
