The Chairmen are a five piece from just outside Leicester who describe themselves and 'turbo-folk'. 'Much like nu-rave in 2007; 2008 is set to be the year of the folk! We didn't plan it...it just sort of happened! Our music just flowed from the folkin' soul and grabbed a generation by the folkin' balls! The press have already grabbed hold of it like it's a 2-4-1 McDolnalds voucher and fair play... they've got to sell papers, but eh...Turbo-Folk is not a label! It's a way of life! So...The Chairmen seem to be at the front of some kind of fad...a craze (if you will!), and it's just getting interesting!
