The Lost Brothers are Mark Mccausland and Oisin Leech. Having roamed the streets and bars of Liverpool with their previous bands, The Basement and the 747s, Oisin and Mark started writing songs together only last year. They did it for fun and started gigging as The Weirdos. Then it started to become too much fun they escaped to Portland Oregan to record their debut album as The Lost Brothers (a name that a friend literally dreamed of and insisted they take). In Portland they worked with M Ward and Bright Eyes producer Mike Coykendall working for 3 weeeks in his attic. They slept at a haunted hotel-The White Eagle. Now back in the UK the album will be released on oct 6 on their own label Bird Dog Recordings.
