Db Clifford was born in France and his mother was British so shares both cultures equally, however Canada has become his new home. "Music has always been around me and at a very young age," he says, "I knew it would become my life. After my mother passed away a couple of years ago I decided to produce and record an album by myself. It took me six months to finish RECYCLABLE (on which I play all of the instruments) and close to two years to find a record label to distribute it. Finally in August 2006 I signed a deal with a major label in Canada and RECYCLABLE is now available in stores (in Canada) as of March 2007. I am currently living in Toronto and working on a tour for this summer. I will be performing at various Jazz festivals in Canada and I am planning on flying to Europe to release my album in September."
