Monday Street became a five piece band in early 2008, all friends from high school and music college in Kent. In their first year together they toured the UK playing universities and colleges, toured with BBC Kent, were played on Radio 1 and Xfm London and Scotland and beat thousands of bands to have two of their early recordings used as the soundtrack for Konami's 'Pro Evolution Soccer 09' game on worldwide downloadable release now on iTunes. This saw them get fans from all over the world. They have supported Babyshambles and Gabrilla Cilmi in London. They have found a sound that is getting them widely talked about in the music industry and will be playing festivals in 2009 aswell as releasing new material.
