Nacional are a Glasgow based unit formed in November 2006, hailing from Broxburn, Leeds, Manchester, Aberdeen and Glasgow. They play regularly in flats, kebab houses and on aeroplanes. Since acquiring limbs, achievements include showcasing at SxSW 2009, playing the Late n Live stage at Glastonbury Festival, appearances on Channel M, BBC Radio 1 & XFM, plus features in publications including The Skinny Mag & Artrocker. They have also lent support towards The Phantom Band, Pivot, Twisted Wheel & Detroit Social Club. Nacional have also been kindly asked to contribute & feature on the forthcoming Strummerville compilation due for release on 05/05/09, with all proceeds heading to the charity inspired & dedicated to the late Joe Strummer.
