The Robot Heart
The Robot Heart have been described as 'Icelandic sounding Beach Boys', bringing together multi-harmony singing, acoustic guitars, piano, clattering drums, electronica and assorted gadgetry. The band cut their teeth hosting club nights in Brighton’s thriving indie/folk scene and have supported Gomez, Steve ‘Beta Band Mason, Tunng , Athlete and Ed Harcourt.
The Robot Heart have just finished their debut album with Rik Simpson (The Cure, Portishead, Coldplay, Pj Harvey). Their first release was titled Dust ( an e.p comprising of 3 Rik Simpson produced songs and 3 acoustic songs.) released august 2010 on download,cd and 10” vinyl.
The full length eponymous album is coming out at the end of Feb 2011 .
