The Sea & I
The Sea & I are an alt. cinematic outfit that began life when Irwin met Paul in a bar in Brooklyn in October 2011. Nothing too strange about the encounter till it transpired they live five minutes from each other in west London. Joined by Naomi, Bex, Bernie and a rotating string and brass section to realise layered vocal harmonies and acoustic timbres that mix with an electronic presence to create sometimes rousing, sometimes haunting songs that hang in the air like smoke in a nightclub.
