Deadwall are a four piece band from the North of England. Sometimes loud and sometimes quiet; toeing the line between beauty and brutality. Delicate falsettos are supported by wonderfully free guitar, ridged mellotrons and ruined, tape worn arrangements. They meander from glistening chamber pop to the shoegazer moments of college rock - described by the NME as containing, "glimpses of Big Star and the more stoned elements of Dinosaur Jr.". On the strength of their debut record, Bukimi no Tani (produced by Hookworms' MJ), they received invites to provide support for; British Sea Power, Temples, Hookworms, Laetitia Sadier, Matthew E. White and Cherry Ghost. The record is available online, with a physical release hopefully coming before we have to say goodbye to 2014.
