Ali Mcqueen spent 2 years honing his songs in the dinge-ridden dens of London‚Äö?Ñ????ë?¬•s pubs. Singer/songwriter Ali has now formed a backing band that bolsters a more than powerful repertoire. The NME ‚Äö?Ñ????ë??s description was an apt one indeed saying his debut single ‚Äö?Ñ????ë??Red Lights‚Äö?Ñ????ë?¬• was like 'Beck and Nick Drake sharing a rollie on a park bench. Admirable stuff indeed.' The single and 8 other songs were recorded in La Rocka studios with Ali playing guitars, bass, drums, piano, organ and an amazing egg-shaker. Live, he is armed with a rare Italian organ and shuffling beats, excels in P.J. Harvey guitar grooves, alt-country spins and anthems that steal the hearts of the heartless.
