My Architects
My Architects launched their fierce panda LP 'Grand Designs' on Dec 5th. With influences ranging from The Smiths to Steve Reich, passed through a filter of elegant strumming and glacial undertones, the band recorded their debut in France at the request of producer/programmer James Sanger (Keane, U2). My Architects secretly hid in their bunker of a rehearsal room to work on a live set, at once visceral and luxurious, built from only the most wholesome emotions and nutritious, rollercoasting choruses, an approach which has already won them plaudits and support slots with the likes of Keane and Editors, as well as some European dates with Starsailor.
