A Silent Film released their critically acclaimed debut album in October “The City That Sleeps” which received substantial radio support as Steve Lamacq’s 'New Favourite Band' in September, playlisting on XFM and recently receiving a nomination for XFM’s New Music Award ’09. ASF will be going on their second UK headline tour in April after supporting shows with Glasvegas, Mystery Jets and Athelete last year and will be releasing 'You Will Leave A Mark', that soundtracked UKTV’s Watch Channel launch advertisement. The band is moving quickly ahead with new material that will be previewed tonight with material from the band's debut. Look for a big ’09.
