Story One
Story One were formerly based in Nottingham and are fronted by violin-toting Tom Evans. At times, their music is deceptively fragile, rearing up to bite your head off the next. Word has spread fast since the band decided to stuff the music industry and offer fans free copies of their self-funded album (Shy Records). And very good it is too. Their second, thoughfully packaged album was released a few months ago. It is amazing and contains a live favourite in the form of an inventive take on 'AM 180' (Grandaddy).
