The Telegraphs
The Telegraphs formed in Brighton in late 2005. The five individuals that exist as the elements and bones of Telegraphs gravitated towards the bipolar seaside town after escaping from typical, small town upbringings. Drawing influence from the likes of Billy Talent, Idlewild, and Brand New their sound can be described as dark and explosive, melodic pop-rock; or as Kerrang! says '…Young Brighton lot Telegraphs know a thing or two about melody. Then they give it a spiky edge a la Biffy Clyro and, presto, a quality work of angular rock goodness.' The Telegraphs will be recording their debut album in June with legendary producer Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild) and plan to play a string of festivals in the summer, starting with a support slot with Reuben at The Great Escape. This will certainly take them up to the next level.
