Samsa
Samsa are a 3-piece band from Leeds. Over the last year they've been featured on Dance To The Radio's 'What We All Want' album, shared the stage with Forward Russia, iLiKETRAiNS, Duels, The Duke Spirit, The Young Knives, Pigeon Detectives, Oceansize and many more. They've been championed by the likes of Steve Lamacq, Claire Sturgess on XFM, and recieved a stream of glowing press nationwide. Since John Peel championed their debut single in summer 2004, a limited edition 7 called 'Quiet Places' on Leeds label Mook Records (stepping stone to The Cribs, and many more), the band, who began their exploits in the heart of native Cumbria, have become a formidable element of the live scene in Leeds, as well as being regulars at this here Club Fandango. They have a new 7'' single coming out on On The Bone Records (Mother Vulpine, ThisEtAl, The Lodger) on May 21, and a tour in April. May and June also brings the band support slots with Stateless and Seafood.
