Hope And Social
Hope And Social are a band who do things a little bit differently. They wear blue jackets, they play mind-blowing, balls-to-the-floor, anything-for-a-laugh, much-more-for-a-tear, heart-on-your-sleeve, foot-on-your-monitor gigs. Gloriously and fiercely independent, Hope And Social formed the UK’s first fan-funded record label Alamo Music and have made just about every mistake a ‘professional’ band can make and have now decided that entertaining people and making the songs they love is the most important thing in music. They like people. They like involving people.

After a mad 2011, the band decided to go back to basics, unplugging everything and re-worked their songs using any instrument their could get their hands on, including a choir of brass instruments (that is everyone apart their Trumpeter, James). This resulted in their special Winter Warmer gig at the Georgian Theatre Richmond at Christmas. Due to the success of that night, they recorded the set, added some new songs and have three dates where they will once again step in to the ‘unplugged’ world. Come along, it promises to be special.
